Strategic Planning Workshop

While businesses may have a Business Plan, many businesses do not have a Strategic Plan. The workshop uses the “Plan on a Page” technique to enable participants to develop a simple and realistic Strategic Plan for their Business. The workshop highlights the importance for businesses to regularly monitor their business environment, identify trends, and respond to trends. The workshop is based on the Queensland Government’s best practice guides and RAPAD’s experience over many years of working with businesses.
What the session covers?
In challenging times such as COVID – 19, a strategic plan is essential to an enterprise’s long term success.
It helps us to take stock of where your enterprise is now, what to keep doing for the future and how to adapt from what we have learned to keep moving toward long term success.
The plan can be used to set priorities, focus energy and resources and strengthen your resolve to address challenges such as COVID – 19.

Gerard Byrne is a nationally recognised authority on Strategic Planning, Management, and Leadership. He is a Fellow, CPA Australia, and he has lectured part-time in undergraduate and post-graduate Business courses at James Cook University, in Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Digital Economy, and Project Management.
He is currently a Small Business Financial Counsellor with RAPAD, assisting small businesses in North Queensland. Gerard career has seen him undertake senior appointments in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, Cairns, and Townsville. He has also spoken extensively at major conferences in Australia and overseas.
