Tender Writing Workshop

Tender Writing has become an increasingly specialised skill, and essential for many businesses to be successful. The workshop covers the essentials of tender writing, how a tender is different to a grant, and how to be “tender ready”. Many tenders require applicants to be pre-qualified, and examples of meeting pre-qualification will be discussed. The workshop is based on the Queensland Government’s best practice guides and RAPAD’s experience over many years of working with businesses.

Gerard Byrne is a Small Business Financial Counsellor based in North Queensland, and employed by RAPAD. He is funded by the Queensland Government. He is currently assisting small businesses in North Queensland impacted by Natural Disasters and COVID-19.
Gerard has over 30 years’ experience successfully applying for tenders and assisting businesses apply for Tenders. He is in demand as a presenter and trainer in all aspects of business. He has lectured part-time at James Cook University in Leadership, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Digital Economy, Project Management, and Management. As a conference speaker, he has spoken at conferences in Australia and overseas.
