Lend Lease
Mr Jeff Byrnes, Senior Project Director with Lend Lease will present on current projects the company leads
in the region. This will encompass current North Queensland projects such as the Lavarack Barracks, and
the recently announced RAAF Base Townsville CH-47 Chinook Helicopter facilities and broader Department
of Defence projects situated across Australia. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the range of
projects being led by Lend Lease and the work opportunities on offer

Joint Logistics Unit
Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Patching, Commanding Officer of the Joint Logistic Unit North Queensland will present on
the current work opportunities and the process for small to medium business to win work from the North Queensland
Joint Logistics Unit.

Aquis Great Barrier Reef Resort
Mr Pat Flanagan will present on the $8.15 billion tourism project. An ambitious project, the Aquis Great Barrier Reef Resort
is designed to be an ‘iconic first class unique modern piece of man- made infrastructure’.

Integrated Food and Energy Developments (IFED)
Chairman of the Integrated Food and Energy Developments (IFED) Hon Keith DeLacy AM, will present on the $1.97 billion
development of a large-scale farm and integrated agri-processing facilities in the Etheridge Shire comprising 50 000 hectares
of irrigated cropping land, co-located processing facilities and associated water, electricity and logistics infrastructure.
IFED is a new model for integrated agriculture, and will be a world-leader in integrated and sustainable agriculture.
